Dennis Martire

Every single day, Dennis L. Martire fights for the rights of workers -- for better working conditions, for more stable employment, for fair compensation, so on. He does this through his elected position with the Laborers’ International Union of North America as vice president and regional manager of the mid-atlantic region. This is a role that he’s held since 2002, striving to create positive change for nearly 20 years.

But beyond his daily work and numerous initiatives, Dennis Martire moves beyond the tasks and into providing a vital leadership voice across the area he serves. Martires holds membership across numerous boards where he aids with additional progress in the mid-atlantic area. Among his many volunteer committee roles, Martire is on the American High Speed Rail Alliance Advisory Board, the Service Contract and Education and Training Trust Fund, the Pennsylvania Workforce Investment Board, the Dulles Area Transportation Authority and the National Maintenance Agreement Policy Committee.
Following a full career of successes thus far, Dennis Martire was elected to the role of vice president and mid-Atlantic regional manager for the Laborers’ International Union of North America.
